Seborrheic dematitis

Seborrheic dermatitis is a frequent disorder afflicting 3% to 5% of the population. It is one of the most frequent reasons why people consult a dermatologist.

Evolving in outbreaks, seborrheic dermatitis appears as outbreaks of small erythematosus and desquamative affected areas in facial seborrheic areas (edge of scalp, eyebrows and space between eyebrows, nasogenian wrinkles and chin) and has an occurring and recurring nature.

Patients feel an aesthetic and social discomfort related to the severity and frequency of the outbreaks, as well as to their potential treatment resistance.

Some factors promoting the development of seborrheic dermatitis and the outbreaks include: sebum production, Malassezia yeast, as well as external factors such as stress periods or weather changes.

The aim is therefore to provide a treatment that allows:

> To reduce outbreaks and space them out

> To improve patients’ comfort.

Based on these criteria, Noreva laboratories have launched a line called SEBODIANE® DS, first rebalancing sebum regulator line.
